At CorpCats, we help businesses operate more efficiently, build capable teams and create the foundations they need to grow.
I’ve never been someone who wanted to do just one thing. At school, I was one of the few girls who really excelled in sports. But being involved in extracurricular activities was never an excuse to let my studies slip. I wanted to do well in both, and I worked hard to make sure I could.
That balance taught me something early on: ambition isn’t just about having big goals. It’s about discipline, curiosity and being willing to put in the work to achieve them.
I’ve always had a scientific mind, too. I’ve loved understanding how things work, asking questions and looking beyond the obvious answer. I don’t find myself particularly satisfied with doing something simply because it’s the accepted way of doing it. I want to understand the reasoning behind it, whether there’s a better approach and what might happen if we looked at it differently.
Those instincts have followed me throughout my education, my career and, eventually, the decision to build CorpCats.
My love of cats has always been about more than finding them adorable. I’ve long been fascinated by their behaviour: how observant they are, how quickly they assess their surroundings, how independently they operate and how deliberately they seem to choose where their attention goes.
They have a quiet confidence about them. They don’t need to be the loudest in the room, and they certainly don’t seem interested in following a crowd just for the sake of it.
And, of course, there’s a more personal side to that connection. My own cats have meant a great deal to me, and losing beloved companions leaves a mark that doesn’t simply disappear. They remain part of your story, even when they’re no longer there.
In time, something I had always loved became part of something I wanted to build.
CorpCats was born from a combination of things that have always mattered to me: ambition, curiosity, a fascination with behaviour and a desire to do things better.
The name has a personal meaning, but it also represents the qualities I want the business to embody.
It turns out there are some useful lessons to take from cats.
Over the years, my work has taken me across different sides of business, including mortgage administration, digital marketing, recruitment, technology and process improvement.
Working across these areas has given me a valuable perspective on how businesses actually operate, beyond what their organisational charts or software systems might suggest.
I’ve seen how sales teams can be full of opportunity but held back by inefficient processes. How operations teams can spend hours on repetitive tasks that should be simpler. How technology can offer impressive solutions that never quite address the problem a business is actually facing.
And how people can end up working around their systems instead of their systems working for them.
One of the biggest gaps I’ve noticed is between IT, sales and operations.
Technology teams understand systems. Sales teams understand customers, opportunities and revenue. Operations teams understand delivery, processes and the practical realities of getting work done.
Yet these functions don’t always speak the same language, share the same priorities or work towards the same outcomes.
A business might invest in new software without properly understanding the operational problem it needs to solve. It might hire more people when the real issue is a broken process. Or it might have capable employees losing valuable time because its systems, tools and workflows simply don’t connect.
I’ve always wanted to be the person who joins those dots.
Someone who understands the commercial objective, gets to grips with the operational reality and can translate both into practical solutions using the right people, processes and technology.
Not technology for the sake of technology. Not recruitment for the sake of adding headcount. And certainly not change simply because something new is available.
The goal is to make the whole business work better.
CorpCats is my way of turning that ambition into something tangible.
I want to build a modern business partner that helps companies bring together the people, systems and processes they need to grow.
That might mean finding the right people to strengthen a team. It might mean improving a workflow, introducing automation, connecting disconnected systems or helping a business rethink an inefficient way of working.
Sometimes the answer will be more capacity. Sometimes it will be better technology. Sometimes it will be a straightforward change in how a task is approached.
The important part is understanding the problem before jumping to the solution.
I don’t want CorpCats to be a business that simply supplies resources, implements tools or ticks tasks off a list. I want us to understand why the work matters, what the client is trying to achieve and how we can make a meaningful difference to the outcome.
That means being commercially minded, practical and adaptable. It means being honest when something isn’t working, curious enough to explore alternatives and responsible enough to see things through.
Above all, it means recognising that people and technology are not competing solutions. They should complement one another.
The right people, supported by the right systems and clear processes, can achieve far more than any one of those things could accomplish alone.
I’m not trying to build a company that does everything for everyone.
I’m building one that understands how different parts of a business fit together, recognises where things can improve and has the capability to help make those improvements happen.
A company that creates meaningful opportunities for people, gives businesses room to grow and treats good working relationships as something worth investing in.
A company that’s capable without being pretentious, ambitious without losing its perspective and professional without forgetting the human side of business.
And, naturally, a company that carries a little of the cat’s character: observant, curious, independent, adaptable and quietly determined.
I want CorpCats to earn its reputation through the quality of its work, the people it brings together and the difference it makes to the businesses it supports.
Because, ultimately, I believe businesses don’t always need more people or more software.
Sometimes, they need the right people, better systems and someone who can see how to bring it all together.
That’s the business I’m building. That’s CorpCats.
Smarter People. Better Systems. Stronger Businesses.
“We’re here to be useful, adaptable and bloody good at what we do.”
Founder of CorpCats
My vision for CorpCats is to build a modern business partner that people genuinely enjoy working with — a company that is capable, practical, commercially minded and, importantly, human. We will stay curious enough to find better ways of doing things, speak up when something is not working, use technology where it can remove repetitive work, question inefficient processes and help clients find the right people when they need additional capacity. I do not want CorpCats to simply provide people to complete tasks; I want us to understand why the work matters, look at the bigger picture and find smarter, more effective ways of getting things done.
That’s a good ambition for a business.
And, admittedly, I quite like the fact that cats don't tend to make a huge fuss about themselves. They just get on with things and somehow end up running the place. We should be curious enough to question a process that doesn't make sense. Observant enough to spot opportunities before they're obvious. Adaptable enough to work with different businesses, people and technologies. Independent enough to take ownership, but collaborative enough to know that good work is rarely done in isolation.
Those are qualities I want CorpCats to have as a business.
And perhaps most importantly, they are quite selective about where they spend their energy. They are observant, noticing things most of us completely miss, adaptable enough to figure things out in unfamiliar situations, and independent while still knowing when to work alongside others. They are also naturally curious, exploring their surroundings and investigating what is happening rather than simply carrying on without question.
Cats are actually rather good at business.
That’s the kind of difference I want CorpCats to make. I’ve seen what happens when you get the right people in the right roles, give them the right tools and actually trust them to do their job — things start to work, and when things work, businesses have room to grow. I’ve also worked closely with businesses and seen how much time and potential can be lost through inefficient processes, understaffed teams, disconnected systems or simply doing things a certain way because “that’s how we’ve always done it.”
I started CorpCats with a fairly simple idea: businesses don’t always need more people or more software. Sometimes they just need the right people, better systems and a bit more thought about how things are being done.
At CorpCats, we help businesses operate more efficiently, build capable teams and create the foundations they need to grow.
We combine business support, digital expertise, technology and staffing solutions to give businesses access to the people and capabilities they need — without unnecessary complexity.
From strengthening day-to-day operations to building digital functions, supporting recruitment and implementing automation, we work alongside businesses to solve practical problems and create better ways of working.
We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all solutions. We take the time to understand how a business operates, where it is losing time or resources and what it needs to achieve next. Then we build a solution around those requirements.

Finding the right people is one of the biggest challenges facing growing businesses. CorpCats helps businesses build flexible teams through staffing, recruitment and remote workforce solutions, including access to skilled professionals from international talent markets where appropriate. Our goal isn't simply to provide additional headcount. It's to find people who can become a productive part of your business, understand your processes and contribute to your long-term objectives. From administrative support and operations to specialist digital and technical roles, we help businesses build the capacity they need to perform and grow.
A strong digital presence is no longer optional. We help businesses build, manage and improve their digital presence through social media, content, websites, search optimisation, digital campaigns and broader marketing support. Our approach combines creativity with commercial thinking. The objective isn't simply to produce content. It's to help businesses attract attention, generate opportunities and build a digital presence that supports their wider business goals.
Businesses often spend too much time doing things manually simply because the process has always been done that way. We help identify those opportunities and introduce technology, integrations and automation where they can create measurable improvements. From connecting systems and automating repetitive workflows to improving data management and internal processes, we help businesses reduce unnecessary manual work and operate more efficiently. Technology should make a business simpler — not more complicated.
Behind every successful business is a strong operational foundation. CorpCats provides practical support across administration, business operations, process management and back-office functions, helping businesses maintain the capacity and structure required to grow. Whether you need additional operational support or want to improve an existing process, we work alongside your team to make the day-to-day business run more effectively.
These questions shape the way we work.
Our role is to provide businesses with the people, expertise and solutions they need while continuously looking for opportunities to make the business better.
There is a difference between providing a service and becoming genuinely useful to a business. At CorpCats, we aim for the latter.
We want to understand the bigger picture — not just the task we have been given.
Before recommending a solution, we understand the business, its objectives and the challenges it is facing.
We don’t force businesses into predetermined packages. We create solutions based on what will actually add value.
The best results rarely come from people or technology alone. We look at how the two can work together.
Our solutions are designed with scalability in mind. What works for a business today should not become a limitation tomorrow.
We believe good partners don’t wait to be told about every problem. They identify opportunities, raise issues and look for better ways forward.
We want CorpCats to become a company known for bringing together exceptional people, practical expertise and intelligent technology to solve real business problems. Our ambition is not simply to provide individual services. It is to build long-term partnerships where CorpCats becomes an important part of how businesses operate, grow and evolve.
Whether that means building a remote team, improving an operational process, strengthening a company's digital presence or automating repetitive work, our mission is the same:
Every business is different.
Some need additional people. Some need better systems. Some need stronger marketing. Some need automation. Many need a combination of all four.
CorpCats brings these capabilities together under one partner, giving businesses the flexibility to access the support they need as they develop.
People. Technology. Digital. Operations. One partner, built around your business
If you are not sure which solution fits your situation, that is fine. Most of our clients are not sure either when they first get in touch. Book a call with the CorpCats team and we will spend 30 minutes understanding your business before we ever mention a service.
